Terms of Service

1. What TripTov is

TripTov is a personal travel-itinerary organizer. You can enter bookings yourself, paste in confirmation emails, or forward them to a dedicated inbound address — an AI model reads the email and structures it into your trip timeline. TripTov also offers informational tools: a rental-car insurance advisor, a visa-requirement checker, and coverage summaries based on details you provide.

TripTov is not a travel agency, airline, insurer, or visa authority. It does not book, sell, issue, or guarantee anything. All information it surfaces — visa requirements, insurance coverage, cancellation deadlines — is for your reference only and may be incomplete or out of date. Always confirm with the airline, hotel, insurer, or embassy directly before relying on it.

2. Your account

You need an account to use TripTov. You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. One account per person. You must be at least 16 years old to create one.

3. The service is free

TripTov does not charge for access and does not process payments. If that changes in the future, you’ll be notified before any charge applies to your account. Where TripTov does earn money is described in section 4.

4. Affiliate links and commissions

Some links in TripTov are affiliate links: if you buy something after following one, we may earn a commission from that company. It never costs you more, and you are free to ignore every one of them. Every offer says which it is, on the offer itself — including the ones we earn nothing from, which is what those rows say in as many words.

A commission never changes what TripTov tells you. Coverage verdicts, gaps, visa requirements and deadlines are worked out from your own bookings and the insurers’ and card issuers’ own documents. No partner pays for placement, for a recommendation, or to change an answer. If the app says a trip has no medical coverage, that is because of what you have on file — not because someone sells medical coverage.

We are not the seller. TripTov is not an insurance agent, broker or producer, and does not recommend a particular policy or plan. When you follow one of these links you buy from that company under their terms: they take the payment, issue the policy or product, and handle refunds, claims and support. Your contract is with them, not with us, and section 7 applies to anything TripTov showed you beforehand.

5. Acceptable use

Don’t use TripTov to:

• Forward emails that aren’t your own bookings, or otherwise misuse the inbound-email pipeline
• Attempt to access another account’s data or impersonate another person
• Send content that’s illegal, abusive, or infringes someone else’s rights
• Probe, scrape, or abuse the service in a way that degrades it for other users

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

6. Your data

You own the information you put into TripTov. You grant us a limited license to process it — including sending relevant excerpts to AI providers and other subprocessors described in the Privacy Policy — solely to provide the service back to you. You can export everything or permanently delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings; deletion is immediate in our live systems, with encrypted backups expiring on the schedule the Privacy Policy describes.

7. No warranty, limitation of liability

TripTov is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. AI-generated summaries (visa rules, insurance coverage, packing suggestions, plan reviews) can be wrong — they are not professional legal, medical, financial, or travel advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TripTov and its operator are not liable for any loss arising from your reliance on information in the app, including missed flights, denied entry, or uncovered claims.

8. Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be flagged in the app.
